Published in the Official Gazette, the 35th article of the Graduate Education and Training Regulation added the provision “In cases of disasters and pandemics, higher education institutions may grant an additional period of one semester to graduate students in the thesis stage upon their request, and if they reapply according to the stage of the disaster or pandemic, an additional period of one more semester may be granted, not exceeding a total of two semesters. These additional periods are not counted towards the maximum duration” due to the Covid-19 pandemic, to request an additional period of one semester, fill out the attached petition, get the advisor's approval and signature, scan it, and send it to ebe@mehmetakif.edu.tr address by 19.02.2021 at 12:00. If you send it as an email attachment, your request will be processed.
